THE HIGHLAND COURSE AT PRIMLAND - GOLF POLICIES

The Highland Course at Primland is an upscale, semi-private golf club in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia close to exit #180 on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

TEE TIMES

Tee times are available daily from 8:30 am until 2:30 pm on the 1/2 hour. Tee times must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Due to the level of difficulty on this course, it is recommended that golfers have a handicap of 18 or less, but it is not required.  Tee times can be reserved by calling Jeff Fraim, Head Golf Professional, at (276) 222-3810.  Advance reservations are required so that guests can be better served upon arrival at this unique resort.

RULES OF PLAY

The rules of golf and etiquette as approved by The United States Golf Association and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club will govern all play at Primland except as modified by Local Rules.

DRESS CODE

Appropriate golf attire shall be worn at all times on the golf course and practice area. Acceptable attire for men: Collared golf shirts, turtle necks, slacks or golf shorts up to four inches above the knees. No jeans, tank tops, cargo shorts/pants, or athletic shorts please.

Acceptable attire for women: Collared golf shirts, turtlenecks, sleeveless collared golf shirts, golf fashion non-collared shirts, slacks or shorts and skirts up to four inches above the knee. No tank tops or jeans please.

GOLF POLICIES

- Play of more than four golfers per group may be permitted at certain times.
- Personal carry-on coolers are prohibited. All refreshments must be purchased on property.
- Walking at The Highland Course at Primland is prohibited. Carts must be used at all times.

- All policies are subject to change by Primland at any time.

RAINCHECK POLICY

During inclement weather conditions, cancellations will be accepted until the time of play. Rainy weather, itself, may not dictate the closing of the course. Rain checks will be issued if the golf course is closed and the group has not completed nine holes. Refunds will be given at the discretion of Primland's Management.
